Active Edge
Active Edge feature allows you to open Google Assistant. All you have to do is hold the phone in palm and press it from both side in the lower half, where you hold it. It opens Assistant even if your screen is off and can also be used to silence notifications, alarms and reminders.
Swipe fingerprint for notifications
Pixel series has placed the fingerprint reader at the back which is very convenient. Did you know you can slide down on the reader to bring the notification bar and see all your notifications? Your thumb don't need to reach out to top of the screen to pull down the bar!
Jump to camera
Want to open Camera app in a hurry? Just double press the power button, no matter if your phone is unlocked or not.
Flip camera
To flip between front and back camera, just shake your Pixel device like a pendulum clock but a bit faster.
Swipe up for home button
When you are using any full screen app, the home and back buttons are invisible. To bring them up, swipe up at the home button and the task panel open where you can decide to land to home screen, close some apps etc.
Double tap to check phone
This is one of the many useful features where you can double tap your screen to see the time / notifications on your locked screen.
Lift to check phone
Lifting your phone will also show notification icons, basically working as same to double tap.
Prevent ringing
To prevent ringing when someone calls or a reminder pops up, press both power button and Volume Up together.
Except the Flip camera option, I use almost all of them. Double tap and using finger on the fingerprint reader to read notifications are the must ones. Double press power button to camera app do not asks me to unlock my phone, allowing me easily hand my phone to others to click some snaps of/for me.
